Capybaby Crochet Pattern

Now you can with this all-inclusive digital capybaby PDF pattern which provides detailed instructions and visuals on how to crochet, brush, and assemble an amigurumi realistic capybara. Skill level: intermediate, will be a learning curve for a beginner but I do my best to be as detailed as possible!

Notes:

• This pattern is in US terminology and works in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated
• You do not have to brush the capybaby (it’s perfect even as a smooth Abby) but if you do, brushing is only recommended for acrylic and natural fiber yarn. It will not work with chenille, velvet, and other polyester yarn

Materials needed:

• Light brown yarn (I use Premier yarn anti-pilling acrylic in caramel)
• Dark brown yarn (I use Red Heart saver yarn in chocolate brown)
• Crochet hook (I use 3.00mm size)
• Tapestry needle
• Safety eyes (I used 8mm size)
• Scissors
• Stitch marker
• Stuffing
• Fabric glue (if you prefer over sewing)
• Other yarn colors for caps and yuzu
• For brushing:
• Pet slicker brush (long thin dense wires, avoid those with rubber tips)
• Tape
• Mask/PPE
• Optional: detail wire brush, fabric shaver
